I'm just wondering if it is at all possible to finalise a disc that has been recorded on one drive in another drive.
The reason I ask this is that we used to have a Sony DVD recorder and it broke.
Unfortunately there was a number of discs we made on it that never got finalised.
Now we've looked everywhere to see if it's possible to finalise the disc on another drive, or at least rip the data off in some way, but can't seem to find any solution.
Is it possible? We have a number of DVD recorders - including Plextor, Asus and LG and a Panasonic DVD recorder, and two software packages - Nero 12 and Blindwrite.
We have tried finalising them with Nero 12 and it just gets to 2% and then ejects the disc, when we put the disc back in it's still open.
