Hi,
I'm trying to conduct a small study. Especially I'm comparing the performance of some codecs on small sized video files.
For that reason I created a small test package on basis of the "MSU Perceptual Video Quality tool" (http://www.compression.ru/video/quality_measure/perceptual_video_quality_tool_en.html).
With this tool the participant (you) has to rate the perceived quality/distortion of five video files.
The package contains six videos. The first one is the reference file (high quality and uncompressed). The other video files are coded with different codecs and contain different degree of distortion. At the end of the rating process the program creates a csv file with your ratings. This file need to be sent here or on codecevaluation@googlemail.com
The package contains a detailed "readme.txt" and some other files for getting the program working.
If I find enough subjects and if wished, I can publish the results here.
The link to the package:

Best regards,
senze
