Bitrate for a 720p / mp4

I have an mkk video encoded with x264, in 720p.
The bitrate is 6041 kbps.

I would like to convert it in order to decrease size in order to having the same quality.

If i use the slower preset, which bitrate will be used in order to decrease size whitout a lossless quality ?

3500kpbs ? 4000 kbps ?
Using a quantize ?

I'm a bit lost.

Yes, but the eyes cannot see the difference sometimes;
The real question is, if i decrease 6000 to 4500 ( for example): did i see the difference ?

It's the Prison Break series ! my files are in 6041kbps, and i would like to compress it a lot in order to reduce the size and whitout a loss-quality for my eyes !
