I followed the guide at Doom9 that uses Nandub to split an AVI by using Home/End keys. For some reason when it is dubbing the new file, it sometimes freezes on a frame and the time just keeps on going up and up. Maybe this is too general of a problem, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Maybe you should try using AviSplitCalc (can be found in the divx4 forum). Just enter the desired file size, set-up everything in options and let it do its work. Maybe it will help. But maybe it's a problem with your avi. Just try looking for a freeze frames. There is a special version of VirtualDub that can search for them. Later you can use avidefreezer (available here, at doom9's download page) to repair your avi. Later you can try splitting once again.

Thanks for helping a newbie like me out dude. I think I'll try out your freeze frame tracker out tonight. Just one question, does Xmpeg create these freeze frames all the time? Cause thats the method I used to encode. Just wondering incase I should try another method incase these freeze frames become a hassle. Or maybe some setting I used/or didnt use was creating them. Anyways, thanks a bunch.
I'm actually attending the USAF Academy. Gets boring here at times. And have to do something with all the electricity my computer is using 24/7. Thanks again. :D

The only thing I can tell you is to stop using Xmpeg.
Try Gknot instead - very newbie friendly and very easy if you follow doom9's guide. Xmpeg is very unstable.
