Hi, I am using TuneBite to capture the screen output of a video that couldn't be downloaded.
I want to preserve the original quality of the video as much as possible.
I would like to know if the intensity of the sound set under windows will affect the intensity of the sound output or quality of the sound? For example, if I let the video playing with very little sound, will the video made have also very little or no sound ? Thank you! Thank you

I don't use TuneBite to capture, but with other audio capture soft yes, the volume of RECORD (not play) affect the sound.
Check yourself the capture audio output with Audacity (or other audio editor), with different record volume, until have the max amplitude without clip peaks.

hi
I don't quite understand about that but I've tested and recorded the screen output using TuneBite.
It's actually a video that requires DRM that will expire soon so I can only "save" it by screen capture.
The test was carried out in this way
I recorded the same video three times and for the first time I set the windows volume (from botton right corner of windows) to the highest (100%), and for the second time I set the windows volume to lowest (about 1%), for the last time I mute the volume.
After recording I set back the volume to the highest (100%)
Then I listen to the recorded videos, no matter 1% or 100% the video was recorded, the same sound intensity was heard in the recorded video, only the last video that was recorded when the volume was mute has no sound at all.
I don't know if my screen recording program (TuneBite) has no effect on intensity of volume (keep the original quality) or if I have lots of things I don't know and I've missed.
Thank you

It means you are not allowed to store the video for longer than that and we cannot help you with getting around the DRM restrictions (see rule #6). If you think this case needs clarification, send me a PM.
