hello
h.264 is supposed to support up to 14 bit depth but i cant find a way to encode videos using 14 bit depth.
is there any way to encode a video file using 14 bit depth?
thanks.

Yes, use an encoder that does. I do not know of one and Wikipedia says only the Intel one only goes up to 12. Perhaps the reference encoder does. If so, we'll see you next year when you're done encoding.

The H.264 reference software probably does, but I doubt you will find any encoder that is able to beat 10 bit x264 (or even 8 bit x264 for that matter).
