I used mac captions to caption an MXF encode done on Rhozet and was wondering if anybody could shed some like why and how the following artifact could have been introduced in the process. This artifact does not exist in the pre-captioned rhozer encode.

Wow, a rare broadcast question on doom9! Hello, friend!

That's a very strange issue.

A couple questions:

1) What type of MXF is this? XDCAM HD422?

2) What version of Carbon did you use, and which exporter / settings did you choose?

3) What type of captions were you working with, and how did you inject them with MacCaption?

4) How did you see this video artifact in the output? In other words - which player were you using?

5) Have you talked to CPC? Their support team is usually great.

PM me your reply :)

Derek
