Just an out topic, and happy new year :-)
Since long time i was wondering where the Avisynth syntax is coming from. Using RPN, this could lead to HP, anyway i found another link regarding the RPL language : There you find a command, a stack command called LAST, so this could shed some light over the origins of avisynth. Also the idea of stack manipulation is similar to dealing with a flow of clips....! Regarding RETURN, this command is found anywhere and doesn't give a real clue.
