Hello everybody,

today I use eac3to regularyly to demux my tv recordings (.ts files), because for my purposes its the best utility to keep the video/audio in sync.

But, there is one message which is printed at some of my recordings:

TS, 1 video track, 2 audio tracks, 1:29:48, 50i
1: h264/AVC, 1080i50 (16:9)
2: AC3, German, 2.0 channels, 384kbps, 48kHz, dialnorm: -23dB, -4ms
3: AC3, English, 2.0 channels, 384kbps, 48kHz, dialnorm: -23dB, -9ms
v01 Extracting video track number 1...
v01 Creating file "C:\Users\Clemens\Desktop\filme\sky2mkv\temp\video.h264"...
v01 Detected PTS overflow...
Video track 1 contains 47 frames and 269298 fields.
eac3to processing took exactly 3 minutes.
Done.

There are actually two questions:

What does "PTS overflow" mean ?

Can I ignore it ? (later on I use the demuxed audio and video steams to mux them again with mkvmerge.)

Many thanks in advance for taking time to support a newbie ;-)

- Clemens.
