Hi all,
Newbie question.
I have a Volume ID patched LG drive. I run Linux and never had a problem playing discs before with a revoked certificate, though I've recently swapped to Debian and this is my first attempt at playing a disc.
Today I tried to play a MKB v31 disc and it wouldn't play. I tried to use aacskeys to give me the information I needed but the only thing I could get out of it was the Volume ID with the --dump-vid switch.
Is it possible for me to use the VID to allow playback of my MKB v31 disc or am I out of luck?
I am able to play some discs with older MKB versions.
Is it normally correct that even with a volume ID patched drive I still need to have working processing keys?
Essentially I am trying to work out if my move to Debian broke something or if the lack of playback is to be expected for MKB v31.
