Question about revoking with Blu-Ray

I recently started trying out libaacs with my XBMC system and found some of my new discs that I have not got around to watching yet were mkb v31 and when I looked it up online I think I read something about the PS3 key being revoked in that version.

Now I was wondering does that mean if I play those discs in my PS3 that is left intentionally on a old firmware for homebrew it will be revoked and I will lose my only bd player unless I update its firmware, which I don't want to do.

I would guess so, but someone other here probably knows better... Still on the lookout for a valid host key and especially processing key for MKB v31 myself.
