I bought a music video dvd today and tried to rip it, but when I tried to use TFM,some scenes look terrible, then I tried to check the original vob file frame by frame, found out those scenes are 29.97 fps CG and effects overlapped on 23.976 fps telecined contents.
can these kind of scenes be inverse telecined correctly?
and what's the right way to process these scenes?
:thanks:

Please post an unprocessed sample. It's pretty unusual for a music video to be telecined.

Feels like the same way that the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (STTNG) videos were made :search:

thx, but it's not that complicated, it's just 29.97fps progressive effects on 24t pictures, no blending fields or PAL things
