Hi this is what I have;
- main menu loop video with background and audio
- 7 chapter loops with video background and audio
- special features page with video background and audio
- subtitles page with video background and audio
- feature video
- 7 special features videos
- 9 subtitle languages
I'm willing to start from scratch to get this working properly based on advice here, I authored it already and my resume function is not working.
Right now it goes to the top menu, you hit play and it plays the feature, let it play for a minute or so, hit top menu, hit play again, it resumes, great, resume function works. However, if I go into any other pages, call movie object into another menu, then go back to the main menu, hitting resume resumes the last movie object which is a menu, even though the flags are set to discarded, it does not resume the feature. Ok, so I learned it'll resume the last movie object entered, fine. So I'm willing to reauthor this.
So do I place the main menu playlist, scenes playlists, all menu playlists under the top menu? I assume I do, since that's what I read here.

This guy says this:
"The trick is to place all the PlayLists you want to resume from within the same Movie Object ... "
Okay great, I did that,
And then he says this,
"and use the command to switch among the PlayList instead of switching Titles."
Okay, so how do I do that? I want to tell my scenes button on the main menu to go to the playlist Scenes, but the button does not allow me to link to other playlists even though they're under the same movie object. How do I do this? I found a way, was to terminatePL, that gets me to the next playlist in the list, but what if I want to get the the special features page, or subtitles page from the main menu, it's very complicated.
I think this approach may not be possible, or if it is how? Take into consideration these are all motion video menu backgrounds. If they were still images this would be easy as I can put them all under 1 IG, however each menu is it's own IG since each IG allows only 1 video and 1 audio.

So in summary, my question is simply, how do you resume between different video menus, maybe we need to think outside of the box for this, or maybe it is something simpler than I am thinking, thanks.
If I find a solution myself, I'll post it, but I've tried almost everything.
