Any ideas as to how to overcome the following?:
I've been playing around with using tsMuxeR and then multiAVCHD for upconverting NTSC DVDs (720x480) to hires Blu-ray (1920x1080).
1) Use tsMuxeR to join .VOBs - No problem with playback
2) Load joined .VOBs file into tsMuxeR and, if pulldown is indicated, I checkmark "Remove pulldown"
3) I checkmark "Blu-ray" and select "Mux"
With only SOME DVDs, tsMuxeR completes the full conversion but generates error messages regarding the locations of pulldown flags.
The resultant (720x480) .M2TS file in the "Stream" plays in sync.
If I then process this file with multiAVCHD to convert to 1920x1080, the resultant file plays out of sync.
Using the same DVD and NOT checkmarking "Remove pulldown" generates no error messages in tsMuxeR, but yields the same out of sync results after processing with multiAVCHD.
I have encountered no such problems with DVDs for which tsMuxeR does NOT generate error messages regarding the locations of pulldown flags - and the hires Blu-ray file created by multiAVCHD is IN sync.
