Hi
Can VirtualDub work at win2000 and winXP at (NTFS) without problem? I can not capture with higher resolution then 384x288. If I want massage does not support occure.

what do you think? isn't at least half of the people in here using either of these OS, specifically me.. and can't you judge by some of the screenshots on my page that I use XP.. I also take every opportunity that presents itself to bash on lesser operating systems (that's anything but w2k or xp.. nt is okay but no multimedia OS so not really suited for ripping purposes either).

You've probably got the common WDM driver problem. Either use VfW drivers or search for alternative drivers (there are some available if you have BT8x8 chips).

Normally it should work without any problems!
My friend is using W2K and I'm using NT4.
No problems!!! You must only make shore that the DMA-transfer is enabled and that your harddisk is very fast!
We are using the Seagate Barracuda ATA4.
Maxtor is well too but is in the first days slower than the seagate.
If you cant capture in big soulutions use the HUFFYUV-Codec!
