Problem with MP4 created with Handbrake .h264 - not playable on Pioneer BDP-450

Good Morning,

I normally use Handbrake with one of the iPad/AppleTV setting to create nearHD versions of my own Blu Rays so that I can directly play them on any Apple device at home.
Stored on my DLNA NAS every other device like PS3, LG or Panasonic Blu Ray player is able to play them as well.

Now I own the brand-new Pioneer BDP-450 who is capable of play back nearly every file format like MKV with HD audio, DIVX, MKV with VC-1 etc. -> everything but my MP4 encoded with Handbrake... :-(

I tried yesterday every preset-setting but without any success. Even the MKV container is not working.

Other MKV with .h264 or other MP4 like podcasts etc. are playing fine.

So I assume that it´s a compability issue with x264 - but how could I fix it?
Is this a known behaviour/bug or a bad .h264 implementation within the new Pioneer Blu-Ray player?
