I'm the tech guy at my company and the owner passes a drive to me to be converted from AVR format to something watchable on a computer. I believe these are DVR files.

Handbrake will load the files but converts them to 4kb unusable files and wont load info. The files, meanwhile, go up to 1.99 GB in size (a cap) and the info spills over into the next clip (Part 1, Part 2 etc).

MPEGStreamclip claims files are not supported.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

hey, i figured i'd give an update here. apparently its for a home video security system. there's separate angles that can be switched between, so its a container format for multiple video feeds. i ended up handing the drive back to be transferred by a company specializing in this, but there is a video player that can convert these files, although it seems to be extremely processor intensive and require you do go through the angles one by one to accomplish this rather than having an automated process of conversion.
