Hi all,

I use CCE for encoding .MOV files to mpeg2.
So far I never had a problem except this one time.
I was given a trailer in .MOV, 23.97fps and I used as always the same settings to encode it in MPEG2 NTSC.

The issue is this:
The encoded MPEG2 file has the same duration as the original MOV file but it plays back in slow motion and since it has the same duration it ends somewhere in the middle. If it played till the end it should have the double duration.

So, I tried to encode it from Procoder and Cinevision with the same settings. No problem at all. It worked great. So did many other assets with similar specs I encoded with CCE before.
The only thing I can think of is that the specific MOV has an issue with CCE or vice versa.

Does anyone ever had this issue before?
Any ideas for solution?

Thanks!

Hi! So did many other assets with similar specs I encoded with CCE before.
The only thing I can think of is that the specific MOV has an issue with CCE or vice versa.THat certainly seems like a CCE-specific problem.

I'd suggest you discuss it with the CCE publisher/author...
