Hi, I need some help! :thanks:

Is there a way to place 2 videos (mpeg2) on timeline, adjust new video to first (cut, paste), and output new one, cutted, without reencode?

I like Mpeg video wizard, but it has only one track for video.
Adobe premiere reencodes all, what other programs could you suggest?

:thanks:

I mean I want to replace old bad videotrack with better one and don't want to change audiotrack which I like.
But both mpeg2 videos need to be synchronised (because of cutted commercials), and that is very comfortable to do on timeline with 2 video tracks.

sony vegas can smart render mpeg2 if you set it up correctly (so only few frames around cut site of a GOP are re-encoded, untouched segments are passed through)

Thanks, but
maybe there is something else? More simple?

I'm learning Adobe Premier now and have no time for Sony Vegas. That's difficult.
BTW there's a plugin for Adobe Premiere CS5: Rovi totalcode (Mainconcept). I tried it the whole day and it doesn't smart-render standard DVD-compliant mpeg2.

Just google the tool that you need. Because I am a newbie so I cannot give you a link.
