Can't speed up WMV?

WMV files can't be sped up in MPC-HC (with CCCP), but they can in VLC. Any ideas why?

Please check what DirectShow filters your MPC-HC is using for WMV playback.

Speed-up works fine here through GDCL WMV/WMA parser and the DMO decoders.

I don't know how to get MPC to use the same filter that VLC is using.
Also, the GDCL WMVDemux filter needs to be compiled :\
