Hi members
I use Media Player Classic MPC with from K-Lite Codec on an Asus motherboard that a built in Sis 650 / 916 vga chip. When the player play any media file, the movie breaks up. By setting the hardware acceleration to 50% then it is fine.
Can we do some setting on MPC & reset the acceleration back to 100%. Appreciate any help.

That IGP doesn't have hardware T&L. The VMR-9 r. and EVR CP renderers in the MPC-HC trunk build don't have much legacy compatibility support for older video adapters. Can you first try the plain VMR-9 renderer? If it works you can try the he VMR-9 r. and EVR CP renderers in one of my builds. I added a few parts for cases like this one, but I can't guarantee that it will work perfectly. The video chip and its drivers are old.
Before trying out an alpha version build, backup and clear all settings for the program. Most settings won't conflict much, but it's just to be sure.

Thanks master for the prompt response. Will try and come back in 24 hours.
May have some problem being a novice using yr MPC re rendering. Is this what you are suggesting: right clicking on the playback area, select "Options" > "Playback" -> "Output" > DirectShow Video, then select one of the options eg "Video Mixing Renderer 9 (Windowed) replacing default "Overlay Mixer Renderer"
Just some details of the player version
1.6.3.5771 (8701ded), MSVC 2010 SP1, MinGW-w64 GCC 4.7.1 (MMX).
Any more views looking at above version details.
Cheers!

I think you should try the "Options" > "Miscellaneous" -> "Export" and "Reset" buttons first. After a reset, try the "Video Mixing Renderer 9 (Windowed)" renderer. If that basic renderer fails, it's completely a driver problem. If it works you can try the he VMR-9 r. and EVR CP renderers in one of my builds, those will probably work as well then.

Thanks again on suggestion reset.
I found that only Old Video Renderer in DirectShow Video works on my PC with 100% hardware acceleration.
I am facing another phenomenon with fast action .mpg files, i'll post this in another thread for easy sharing. Hope to see u there. Cheers!! :thanks:
