Hello,
I'm searching for a software where I can comfortably compare different codecs. I want to do some graphs with bitrate on one axis and an objective metric (e.g. SSIM) on the other axis. Also I want to find the best presets of the codecs. I heard that the people of compression.ru used Video Codec Scoring System "ViCos" for their benchmarking. When googling I always get to http://vicos.yuvsoft.com/bin/VicosSetup_v2.2.exe . It seems this exe was Freeware some time ago. Now you can only buy the software. Has anyone VicosSetup_v2.2.exe for me? It seems to be legal to share it, as this version seems to be Freeware.
I already found the "MSU Video Quality Measurement Tool" but vicos seems much more comfortable.
