Hi,

I've created three mp3's from an ac3 file using fast normal, normal and extreme settings for lame. Oddly, all the files turn out to be exactly 128kb and the same file size. Is this expected or am I screwing something up somewhere else?

Here's my bat file settings.

besweet.exe -core ( -input dvd.lst -output audio.mp3 -substream 0x80 ) -azid( -z1 -b1 -M1 -s surround -d 2/0 -c normal) -lame ( --alt-preset extreme ) -ota( -g max ) -boost( /b=5 /l=0.95 )

hi Huge,
please post logfile. also point out the version date of lame_enc.dll (it's printed whenver BeSweet starts).

maybe it's just a stupid problem, and you only need to remove the space between "-lame" and the openning-bracket.

Dg.

delete all old dll versions from you h.d. and stick to the one that comes with the BeSweet package.
