Can someone please help me on what this Mux error is in Scenarist BD? I have been using this for all my BD authoring needs for a very long time, and just out of the blue I go and author up a BD project I am finishing up on and now when I go to MUX I get these errors,
Error : Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Error : [MUX] Can not write MUX file(s) : Could not create MUX XML file()
Thanks in advance for any and all help.

You have a clip which is not used in the scenario. Clips are physically your m2ts, but you can't have an unreferenced clip. Just delete the clip from the Clip folder.

I thought the unused Clip error actually said that specifically ("A clip is not used in a PlayList" or something like that) (haven't seen it in a while). And, I believe on the later versions of Scenarist, it's only a warning not a fail (since you can, technically, have an unreferenced .m2ts file on a disc if you really want to... You can't do anything with it, but it doesn't hurt to have it there... :) )
I think there might be something in the Data Tree that is pointing to a file that doesn't exist.
Try this: With your project open in Scenarist, go the File menu at the top, then select File Tracker. See if anything comes up marked red (or with a red X). Red things are files/assets that Scenarist can't physically find on your hard drive. If they are un-needed, delete them from the data editor. If they are needed, find out what happened to them and put them were Scenarist can find them... See if that solves it.

Thanks for the help but I still have not found the problem, file tracker shows all green check marks, so if there are any other suggestions please by all means share.
Thanks again

Have you some Virtual Assets in use?

Dear The Game,
It is many time that we miss to replace the virtual Assets due to which we get an error while muxing, given below is a short details for it.
1) Right Click in Data Tree you will get the virtual Assets window.
2) Once clicking on Virtual Assets you can replace with Actual Assets from the respective path from Assets.
3) Attached is the jpeg for your notice.

Hmm...just stumbled onto this thread but I don't have any virtual assets and I'm getting the same error. File tracker says I'm good to go with everything as well. Anyway to fix?
