PowerDVD makes 16:9->4:3

hi,

i have a problem with the Aspect Ratio in PowerDVD, i`ve ripped a movie with Gknot and the Aspect Ratio is 16:9
but when i play the movie with PowerDVD
in Fullscreenmode it shows the movie on the whole screen without any black bars and so the movie looks very bad.
I would choose another player but PowerDVD is the only player where the AC3 sound listen good.

Hi-Power DVD just does that. You might try PowerDivX NG (in the Doom9 download area), as it can handle AC3 sound and keep aspect ratio when full screened (you'll have to fool around with the Pan And Scan Pad in the control panel).
