I think this started after upgrading the Catalyst drivers for my HD 6950 from 11.x to 12.6. Nearly everytime I seek during DXVA-enabled playback I get horrible artifacts or blocks like this:

They vanish after a few seconds. It looks like it doesn't continue decoding on a reference frame. I usually use bsplayer + haali's splitter + ffdshow, but this problem also occurs with MPC-HC (internal filters) and VLC. It seems to happen less often using LAV Filters, but it's still there.
So is this a bug in the newer Catalyst driver? Or decoder bugs (maybe due to a fixed driver)? My google-fu didn't bring up anything. Any pointers on how to solve this issue without rolling back Catalyst?
