it's urgent, tomorrow is my dad's birthday and I have made a video for him(with Camtasia Studio), but i find the formats is avi which my dad's phone cant support. I wanna to send to video to his phone tomorrow evening. I need to convert it to mp4, I searched on google and found this: [link removed] but there is so a disgusting watermark. I kown most software have some functionality for trial version, but i really dont wanna pay for this because i just use for once! can anyone share me another free mp4 converter? thanks ever so much.:thanks:

MP4 is only a container format! It may contain a multitude of different audio and video formats.

Before you do anything else, you should find out what video and audio format is actually stored in the MP4 file you have. And, even more important, what audio/video/container format you dad's phone supports!

AVI also is only a container format, that may contain a variety of different audio/video formats...


If you are not familiar with this stuff, a tool like MediaInfo may be of great help:

The easiest way at this point could very well be to download the 240p mp4 from the youtube link that you yourself posted -
if you don't mind the absolutely horrible quality due to the settings used by youtube re-encoding.
