Is there any recommended way to encode video in WMV7 and WMV8 codecs - best to exploit various aspects of those codecs (to stress decoder)?
Personally i think about ffmpeg however not sure about encoder quality (video quality is not a goal).
I know that WMV7 and WMV8 are outdated but this is not the case.
And BTW - I'm searching for decent info about those video codecs - i mean at least basic capabilities i.e. supported fps, resolutions, bitrates etc. Searched through Google however i didn't find anything useful and seems that even Microsoft abandon own child.
Benwaggoner can You help?
TIA - :thanks:
