streched movie

at first thank you for your helping. The problem was that I have installed the divx4.12 codec but with the divx3.11 it works good
but I notice that the movie that I get when I convert the vobs with "dvd2avi" and "VFAPI" have not the size. It is too high. it is stretched.
The real dvd movie is less higher.
But I think the problem comes with dvd2avi because the movie(vobfiles) when I open it in dvd2avi have also the wrong proportions
I notice that when I tried to crop the movie
I don´t know why.

No. The "real" dvd movie is indeed stretched (720x576 is not 4:3). Only your DVD player stretches the movie to 4:3 format at the time of playing.
