Need advise on create discrete Center Surround channel...

I make 5.1 sound tracks for my videos in Final Cut Pro and it doesn't go above 5.1....well I usually place sounds I intend to go in the back center speaker at 180º as to create equal amplitude in the left surround and right surround for Dolby Digital Surround EX encoding/decoding...BUT I want to create a discrete back center...

Is there a way to feed the left surround and right surrounds in something basic like Audacity and run a filter so it takes only the audio in the two of the channels that is panned at 180º aka equal decibels in both channels to create a Center back surround channel? I know there is Center Cut GUI or whatever but I've got a MacBook Pro and Ive also heard CenterCutGUI may cause distortion...

So far I've been playing the entire sound track over my AV Receiver then sending an analog out from the line out level Back Left and Right outs on my Receiver and recording it via audacity...its a pain because I have to then add it into Final Cut Pro line up the audio so thats in proper timing (and it doesn't always work PERFECT) then silence the entire 5.1 track by disabling it and exporting so my 6.1 channel is place equally in the FCP panner then opening audacity and down mixing all the blank channels + the two that represent the center back down to a mono WAV.
