cannot determine file type of .....

im trying to open a .avs file in vdub I made the file with gordian knot for an xvid encode and it wont open!!! :eek: anyone knows what to do about this?

What is the source file? A DVD .vob?

i though i said that in the previous post... its a avs file... dvd2avi made it... but now its working...

An .avs file is not the source, neither is DVD2AVI. Both are frameserving tools for allowing VDub to encode something it normally isn't able to on its own....

And if you get this error, try reinstalling avisynth. It's your problem.
