Hi, just installed the madvr and lav filters. I'v very happy with everything, it really is much better now. Among other things I had a problem with too much yellow tint before using k lite on my new projector, but it is now gone thankfully. :)

My question is a on the bit more advanced section. I know use the 3 lav filters (audio, splitter and decoder) and the madvr renderer and modified some settings in these aswell such as bicubic in madvr.

I've looked around at these more advanced tutorials but personally find them very confusing.
For example, I would like to turn up the gamma a bit (picture a tad too dark right now) but I am limited to setting the value 'enable gamma processing' to 1.80 instead of 2.2, and this makes picture a bit brighter. Still not bright enough for my taste though.

I don't have any instrument to measure the projectors white levels and such which I guess you need right to go advanced? I run at the stock settings, I feel the colors are quite nice now after getting madvr.
(I can go into the projector and check rgb and rgbcmy menu but don't know if this helps.)

Any tips to calibrate further, ajusting a little brighter pricture and such, if I don't got the yCMS values for my projector?

hello? anyone??

Can't someone atleast answer if there is another way to configure this or if I really need to buy an instrument to measure my projectors yCMS values?
