[MeGUI] MKV muxer problem

Ok so hello all members,

And first of all thanks for this wonderful encoding GUI.

Nevertheless I got some troubles when I play a mkv with ac3 or mkv with mp3 on my blue-ray player : with the video alone it works fine : I can go quick forward and rewind playing (not the normal play but the quick play : when you are at the beginning and you want to advance forward in order to reach the middle of the movie you know ?).

But as soon as I mux with an ac3/mp3 stream I can't go forward and rewind the film.

So I think the problem comes from the muxer (or maybe me).

Note : I re-encoded and AVI file : when I re-encoded with x264 I kept the original resolution : I didn't put it at 720 : the original one was approxim at 630.

Must I take some medication doctor ?

Or maybe the problem comes from my external player ?
I don't really know that's one of the first times I try a mkv x264+ac3/mp3 on an external player.

And I don't hide you I am a little bite... disappointed by the result.

Must I use an HDMI one ?

Sorry, no clue. I assume that the player has some problems with this kind of files. What kind of player do you have?

And it is for sure not a problem of the connection between player and TV - so you do not need to replace the cables. But nevertheless I suggest to use HDMI to get better quality.

PS : I encoded with Xvid and it works very fine.
