See attached file for inf and log file. The output file size is 23.6 GB (25,433,772,032 bytes). IMG Burn reports the file as 102%. Free Space:-409,796,608 bytes. Please advise.

The final output size will be a little different than the target. Depending on the actual content of the re-encoded video it may take more or less bytes to get the job done. BDRB tries to guess what it will be, but sometimes the guess is wrong.

I would suggest setting a custom target size (in the "setup" menu) that is at least 3% smaller than 23.6GB; maybe 22.8GB -- 23GB at the most.

Tried the custom size setting. Unfortunately, the output came out the same as stated in my first post.

Tried Movie only, output size is still too big to fit on DB-R.

Your first 2 logfiles (3rd is still pending) show that your target size is still set to the default 22.9 GB for BD-25.

I think what might be happening is that you have changed the "custom target size" on the "setup" page, but you have forgotten to go to the "Menu>Settings>Output options>" page where you can then select that "Custom Target Size (xxxxxMB)" before processing the disc.

The custom target size was selected for all attempts. The first 2 attempts had full backup selected. I did notice when the encoding finished, that custom was no longer selected and target BD-25 was selected??? The last thing I did before encoding was select custom, how it switched to BD-25, I don't know? The 3rd attempt I selected custom target again, but movie only. When the encode finished, custom target was still selected, but the output file size was too big again. Attached are logs from a 4th attempt, movie only, custom size, ABR one pass and again output size is too big.

Just noticed you can manually change the size on the setup page. I was using the default. I will make that smaller and try again. Thanks!

Yes, you have to select "custom" on the "output options" page, AND set the custom size on the "setup" page.

Note that you don't have to wait to the end of the encode to see which size was selected. When the rebuild starts just view the "log" tab, and you will see, near the top, what the target size is. If it still says "- Target BD size: 22.95 GB" then you might as well abort and try again, because it will end up being oversized again.
