Convert a DivX into the DVD Format

how can i convert a DivX into the DVD Format? (vob)

I have had some success using tmpgenc transcoding divx files to either vcd or dvd compliant mpeg streams using the appropriate tmpgenc template. The file sizes get quite a bit larger (using vcd as target) I think you could use multipass vbr in the dvd target to get the file size down. CCE blows up every time i feed it a divx avi source. TMPGenc also blows up from time to time (disabling sse seem to help) and I have found no way to fix divx files with broken audio sync in the process.
