I've been having some problems with this program and it seems is not updated anymore. Is there any alternatives to author my avc mp4 and mkv into a dvd5 for my bluray standalone?

I've grown quite fond of BDtoAVCHD recently. It has a nice GUI, is self contained, and very stable. It's updated on a regular basis as well.

Another that I haven't used in a while, but used to be decent is AVCHDCoder (http://tools.twanwintjes.nl/index.php?page=avchdcoder)

Last but not least, I believe that RipBot has offered AVCHD output for some time now.

Hi! I've been having some problems with this programWhat SPECIFIC problems have you been having with what kind of MKVs? (Please state the type of video and audio streams in the MKVs) - and what was your source material for creating the .MKVs?
