Hi all,
I'm working to fix a Blu-ray which was originally broadcast as 25p(50i) but only released on Blu-ray in 60i with hard pulldown.
The main problem is that the chroma fields look blended - but I just want to be absolutely sure before I continue, so could someone have a look?
Here's a sample: http://horman.net/cut.demuxed.vc1
I'm using DGDecNV (I've had no luck with any other methods), so I'm wondering if there is something my video card isn't taking into consideration when it decodes, or if I'm doing something wrong. All five discs in the set show this blended chroma when I open them with AviSynth, although one of them is a fully blended mess as opposed to the hard pull down of the rest. I didn't notice anything amiss with the chroma when I watched them via a PS3, but I was possibly more distracted by the pulldown than anything else.
