Dealing with frame-doubled 720p files from Panasonic camera

My Panasonic camera creates .mts 720p files which Mediainfo reports:

Frame mode: Frame doubling
Frame rate: 25.000 fps

When I try to encode these with MeGUI (AVS Script Creator / File Indexer), I get ultra-smooth, 50 fps mkv files at half the duration as a result. This is probably a trivial issue but can please someone tell me what's going on and what needs to be added to the Avisynth script to avoid this? -Thanks

i had the solution for 50p (conversion to pal interlaced dv) and 25p (ignoring the doubled frames), but i can't find it right now, also i have no memory on what i was doing exactly. :/

Bluray spec. requires 720 to be 23.976, 24, 50 or 59.94 fps.

So if yours is 25 or 29.97fps, it must be flagged as "double" pulldown.

Thanks. So, essentialy, it's a 'fake flag' and there's nothing to be lost at encoding, when dropping half the frames?

Works only because the source filter (not specified) does not honor the pulldown. In DGDecNV, you would have to specify Ignore Pulldown Flags also:
