wmp + ffdshow, dvd not played

i have a full installation of latest ffdshow stable version... windows media player 12 on windows 7... win7, ffdshow and wmp are 64-bit all

using win7dsfiltertweaker i disabled all win7 codecs and enabled ffdshow as default... ffdshow settings see mpeg2 + dvd enabled, same settings worked on windows xp or stated in several guides (i'm going crazy)

can anyone tell me where i'm wrong?! any bug in this version?!

tried with divx player plus, this can play a vob with ffdshow... can anyone suggest something to check if i'm missing a splitter o something?!

edit: renaming a .vob in .mpg wmp works with ffdshow... so i definetly need something to open .ifo/.vob
