Simple question about 1:1 dvdr copying [Archive]

I have a mac G4 with the superdrive and if i got a movie that was less than 4.7 gigs (say spaceballs for example which is 4.2 gigs), can I rip it to the hard drive and then just take all the files and copy them to a dvd-r with something like toast. or does something need to be changed before I can burn it.

also is there a web site that lists the movies that are below 4.7 gigs. alot of the older movies that came out when dvd players came out are smaller than 5 gigs. thanks

Read Doom9's guides on dvd-dvd copying. You will find how to make a copy of dvd. But there can be a problem with the software since you're using MacOS.... Anyways - guides will give you a better understanding of what needs to be done...
