Gknot d2a-proj error message

When opening a d2a-project file in gknot i get following message:

File is not a valid dvd2avi project (v 1.76, YUV2)!

Any ideas? It works fine on other computers. The d2a-project file is created on the PC where i get the error.

edit:

have gknot 0.23 (default install) and Xvid installed.
