Question of QuickTime player

Dear guys,

I have a task to remux the H.264 video stream to MOV file format to have QuickTime player played well.

But I found that if the coming video stream had multiple slice, the decoded slice except the first slice is corrupted if using QuickTime player, but playback is fine if using other third party player, such as VLC.

Is it possible that there's any constraint of QuickTime player? (I'd tried to google on internet, but I don't find anything.)

The QuickTime player's version had been updated to latest one, v7.7.1

It will be very appreciated if anyone could have a comment on it.

if you have a small sample, i can test playback on lion (but i doubt slices are supported):

That's odd... if memory serves, the Apple decoder used to support slices as the only multithreading optimization. I could be wrong though.
