Muting audio on a range of frames

Say I wanted frames 300-400 and 600-800 to have no audio. Is there a quick and easy way to do this? Of course I could easily do it with Trim and Amplify but I wonder if someone has written a function that just takes a frame range as an argument...

You could use ApplyRange (http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/ApplyRange).
