Hi,

I notice many title release this year have DTS-MA 7.1.

Questions
- Does the core have DTS-ES 6.1 or DTS Standard 5.1?

- Since DTS-MA is a reconstruction bitrate based on the core. Does it mean the core will be missing the extra 2 channel (1 channel if its DTS-ES 6.1)?

IMHO, to reconstruct 7.1 from 5.1.

- Does it up-convert 5.1 to 7.1 before channel reconstruction?
- This method will preserve the channel information in core rather than losing 1 or 2 channel info.

- Reconstruction from 5.1 to 7.1 of need more bitrate(with 5.1 data) than up-convert(7.1 data)?

Til now, not many people know the details of how DTS works, thats including me.

I hope I can get some answer soon from the expert.

Thank you
