There is NEVER sound....FlaskMpeg [Archive]

I am a newbie trying to convert all of my DVDs to DiVX before I go off to college. I thought this would be easy but everytime I convert THERE IS NO SOUND IN THE FINAL PRODUCT!! I have used SmartRipper and DVD Decrypter to rip the VOB files. Then I go to FlaskMpeg and follow the guides TO THE LETTER (except for the resolution). Everything in the AUDIO TAB, I did exactly as spoken. But twice I have converted using Flask and there is NO SOUND. Do I have to do the sound separate? My final product is a video that is a complete size of 672mb. Will combining an audio stream increase size..? PLEASE HELP !!!

Well...
Combining an audio will for sure increase size of the movie. Are you sure that you have selected an audio codec???? With flask you don't have to do sound separately. Of course you can - using BeSweet for example and join it with the movie using Nandub - but it will increase your filesize.
And maybe you should try Gknot....Very easy and very good...
