Hi guys,

I just bought a Oppo BDP-93 but found out that it does not support blu-ray .iso playback anymore since the lastest firmware
Luckely .m2ts is still supported over DLNA so I want to convert my 3D .iso movies to .m2ts files.

I need to know some things about it before I start trying DVDFab.

1.
I want to have NO QUALITY LOSS at all, so exactly the same video and audio as the blu-ray .iso. What settings must I use in the coversion settings when I want this?

2.
3D video effect settings: my .iso files are all full blu-ray rips with the original 3D signal on it. Should I choose 'Left/Right' and 'Full (100%)' to get no quality loss?

3.
Can I somehow insert .srt subtitles?

Thanks for input!

Hi,

1. You need to check if DLNA for 100% original MVC SSIF streaming is possible for Oppo BDP-93, I doubt that.

2. The SBS 100% output file can only be played on PC for now, to play SBS on normal standalone player, you need choose 50%.

3. We have plan to allow user to insert .srt subtitle into Main Movie.

Thanks.

As far as I'm aware, nobody has got round to writing an .ISO file parser for use via UPnP/DLNA... You'll have to navigate to and play such files via SMB or NFS.

Don t think that MVC SIFF streaming is possible with the Oppo BDP-93.

Decided to buy a Blu-Ray burner. It s the simplest way: I just burn my .iso to the BD-R DL and pop it in the Oppo.

Now all I need to find out is how to add subtitles to an .iso. I know it is possible for 2D .iso with tsmuxer and some other software from what I ve heard but how to do it with 3D .iso....? Can t find much info on the internet about it.....

Fengtao? :)

Adding 3D subtitle is complicated, you need adjust many 3D data strutures, I doubt you can do it with freeware tools.

As I said, adding subtitle to Main Movie will be implemented in DVDFab in the future, please wait.

For now, our focus is implementing Blu-ray 3D BD50 to BD25 compression.

BTW, is there already an option to rip straight to (DVD) ISO with DVDFab HD Decrypter like you can do with DVD Shrink?

menting Blu-ray 3D BD50 to BD25 compression.

Any chance of doing this via the best H.264 encoder on the planet (x264) instead of the current one (quality leaves alot to be desired!)?!?

Thanks for your reply. I ll look into the subtitle thing later. Another question:
With my Blu-Ray 2D .iso files I have a possibility to remux them with tsmuxer. By doing this I can only remux the main movie so I can burn it on a 25gb disc instead of a much more expensive Dual Layer disc. Can I remux a 3D .iso?
