One of the main reasons why I don't have an iPod is because I don't want to install Apples bloated (and invasive) iTunes to encode and transfer my AAC in .M4A files over to such a device - I suspect many other people are of the same opinion ;)

Whilst down the pub I was asked by some Windows 7 PC users, if I knew of any alternatives to iTunes for detecting, transferring and deleting AAC in .M4A files on their iPods

So I thought I'd ask you guys...

Cheers

Foobar (http://www.foobar2000.org) + iPod manager (http://yuo.be/ipod.php) plugin. No bloat and best what you can have from thirdparty soft. I'im using f player all the time, and ipod manager few years back, worked well.
