Hi
I am trying to author a Blu-ray (25gig) I want to put 20 -90mins(appox) mpeg2 films (1 gig each appx) on one bluray which can be played back thru a bluray player
I am using Roxio My DVd to author however when I import the1 Gig movie (MyDVD) up=scales it to nearly 6 gig, I also tried cyberlink program and it did the same thing,
is it possible to have 20 movies on one disc? as I also notice a playback time issue on roxio
can anyone tell me the compliant file for a bluray? why cant it be 1 gig? , up-scaling it to 5gig wont improve the quality of it.
any ideas how I can make a bluray with 20 movies on it
any recommended programs?
(I tried scenarist but it would not even accept the mpeg2 files in the mui file checker)
thnaks

Yes, you can put IIRC a maximum of 999 movies on a single BD if authored as a movie per title. 20 should fit in :).

Try multiavchd.

Really... 1GB per 90min movie encoded using MPEG-2. What do they look like. And what resolution are they encoded at?

1) Sounds like your 1 Gig videos are already highly compressed.

2) What software and procedures did you use to create your MPEG-2 videos?

3) What was the original source material from which you created your MPEG-2 videos?

Where did you get the AVI movies? Please answer me in PM to get your thread reopened.
