Convert RIFF WAVE DTS/AC3 back to standard DTS/AC3

Does anyone know how to convert DTS/AC3 tracks with the RIFF WAVEfmt header back into standard files losslessly that MPC-HC (along with LAV Audio) can bitstream correctly?

Two possibilities:

1) WAV header says "compressed audio",
then Google for riffstrip.exe

2) WAV header says "UNcompressed audio, stereo, frequency = 44.1kHz or 48kHz",
then remove the SPDIF-padding and the WAV header through
eac3to OR bsconvert.exe
