Is there a benefit to have BD-RB include Speedmenu with a Movie only re-encode? It sure looks cool!

If you rip the disc with anydvd's speedmenu enabled then the ripped folder will have the speedmenu. It replaces the original menu. If you'll process that speedmenu ripped folder with BDRB, the speedmenu will still be on it.

I didn't get it with MOVIE ONLY. Is this expected?

Yes, because when you choose 'Movie only' BD rebuilder removes all menus and just gives you the main movie

I'm not sure if this is still true, but I've had several reports that ripping with speedmenu ends up with a source that is corrupt and causes BD-RB to choke. Turning it off fixed the issue. Since people always "forget" to tell me they've modified the source, I've added a check in the next release in which I show the AnyDVD settings in the log at the failure point.

The point to remember is that if you use the "bells-and-whistles" in AnyDVD to modify the original discs format... I won't respond to bug reports. As I recall other software identified issues with the speedmenu output as well.

Well if they want to have a shrinked speedmenu enabled this, imo they'd better shrink it first and let imgburn create an iso. Mount it, enable speedmenu's and create a new iso. All done.

This (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1562416#post1562416) bug reports says that BD-Info also says there are issues with MPLS files after the use of speedmenu... I think I'd avoid it altogether until they've corrected it to a point at which it creates a disc that doesn't have issues.

Don't get me wrong, I still think AnyDVD is the best decrypter out there -- but there seems (seemed?) to be an issue with this feature. It may be possible it was fixed with this change in v0.7.1.0:
- Fix (Blu-ray): Crash of speedmenu with some discs But until someone can tell me otherwise I can't be sure BD-RB will not choke on speedmenu output.
